STEP 1: FILL OUT THE APPLICATION AT BOTTOM
Meghan does only three sessions per month. Please apply early if you have a specific date and destination in mind - especially during the high season for weddings and travel. We make every effort to accommodate last minute sessions, schedule permitting.

STEP 2: CONSULTATION
Meghan will reach out personally over the phone to get to know you, answer any questions, and discuss painting session options. Each painting package is unique and pricing is based on artwork size, location of the session, and any upgrades -- such as session photography, catering, custom floral bouquets, custom jewelry, or artist-handled framing -- made possible through project partners. 

STEP 3: BOOK IT
Couples book their session with a $1000 session fee that goes towards acquiring the work. For gifts, the full price of the work, which includes session fee, is paid up front. The artist first coordinates the gift with the gifter, then with the couple.

STEP 4: THE SESSION
During a session, the painting comes about organically; it is based 100% on the artist's vision, on what she finds inspiring and beautiful in the duet before her, and the sitters' relationship to each other. Food and drink is often involved, and catering can be arranged as part of the PDDP package. Even for uncatered sessions, it just sort of shows up according to how each couple likes to "be" together.

STEP 5: ACQUIRING THE PAINTING
After relaxing, stretching, celebrating, and simply enjoying the moment, couples may then officially acquire their painting by finalizing payment in person.

A complimentary, custom-crafted care package is included with your purchase. Only available to muses who acquire a painting from Pas de Deux Project, the care package includes:

All Pas de Deux Project paintings are considered part of Meghan's body of work -- not a commissioned work, but a real, inspired, from-the-source painting -- and as such are included in the studio catalog and collector database. This confirms the work's value and prevents forgeries. Documenting the work's creation and tracking its acquisition is how this is done. Duets receive a certificate of authenticity for their painting and transfer of art ownership paperwork at the end of the session as well, for your personal files. The whole kit and kaboodle. 

You may be new to this and thinking, oof, those are a lot of deliverables! Do all artists do this? Many artists do not. They are also not as involved in, or as committed to, protecting the value and the longevity of your investment either. Frequently galleries manage this aspect, with varying degrees of detail.

STEP 6: LOADS OF HUGS
Meghan leaves the acquired painting with you, and brings the studio set up home with her. Sessions usually end with toasting, loads of hugs, and serious excitement over a new work, lasting memories and burgeoning friendships.
